The company independently developed, based on the oil film interception deoiling technology, is a new concept of oil-water separation technology, with seven national invention patents, utility model patents 26. The company cooperated with Dalian Institute of Chemical Sciences of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Ke Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. to develop PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) hollow fiber membrane, which is a new generation of hollow fiber membrane with special properties and has three national invention patents. Its base material PTFE has super strong chemical stability, strong acid, alkali, organic corrosion, high temperature resistance, pollution resistance and other characteristics make it a unique film material. However, due to its unique physical and chemical properties, it can not be prepared by the traditional LIPS method. Cao Yiming, chief researcher of Dalian Institute of Chemical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has successfully developed a PTFE hollow fiber membrane preparation process after 8 years. In cooperation with Petronas, the company adopted the membrane to replace the traditional scrubber by using the membrane absorption principle and applied it to the CO2 capture of offshore gas platforms, and achieved success, winning the 2017 Institution of Chemical Engineers Oil and Gas Award. PTFE hollow fiber membrane has a wide range of application prospects – based on the membrane absorption principle, it can be used in high ammonia nitrogen wastewater treatment, odor removal, seawater desulfurization and other fields; Based on the principle of membrane distillation, it is applied to solar desalination and concentration of high salt wastewater. It can also be used as an ultrafine filter membrane for removal of suspended matter in complex water quality.
