PTFE membrane media penetration pressure test method:

PTFE hollow fiber membrane wastewater media penetration pressure test has a strong guiding significance for the membrane contactor system design. As industrial wastewater or high ammonia nitrogen wastewater composition is complex, the nature of different wastewater media, are required to test the content of its composition and PTFE membrane resistance, according to the test media penetration pressure data, can determine whether the membrane contactor can operate stably, and make the corresponding system design.

The method is as follows:

Clean the PTFE hollow fiber membrane with anhydrous ethanol, put it into the oven at 50 degrees to dry completely, after drying, cut 1 meter long membrane filament, clamp one end of the membrane filament with an iron clip, insert the other end into the corresponding size of the needle, and inject the filtered wastewater water sample from the needle. When the membrane filament filled with wastewater, the needle into the gas cylinder, slowly pressurized, every minute after the increase of 0.05bar, observe the surface of the membrane filament, to the surface of the small water droplets observed, record the pressure gauge readings, that is, the wastewater medium of the penetration pressure.
